CONCACAF Champions is a good tournament for teams to compete against other international clubs. Yet, I don’t think the full story is given to the MLS teams and national team since the majority of the MLS stars are designated international players. (For stats purposes of how good US players are doing, yet the international experience is that counts).
LAFC is surprising the Mexican club teams eliminating two high caliber teams such as Cruz Azul and Club America. Now they are one game away vs Tigres to fight for the automatic spot at the FIFA club world cup.
Since 2018 coach Bradley has put the pieces together to make LAFC a great team and outshine their local rivals LA Galaxy, and now, beating teams like Cruz Azul and America, put LAFC caliber at a higher level. Good luck on Tuesday vs Tigres and we will be watching!
