Our plan that I believe will not only enhance our community’s infrastructure but will also bring substantial economic benefits. Our proposal is to establish an indoor sports complex with a primary focus on soccer—a facility that will serve as a hub for both local residents and visitors, promoting health, wellness, and community engagement.
Our project is structured in three key phases:
- Phase 1: Outdoor Fields and Infrastructure
We plan to begin by constructing outdoor soccer fields and the necessary parking facilities. This will involve land preparation, site leveling, and the installation of high-quality sports turf that meets the needs of both casual players and competitive teams.
- Phase 2: Mini-Fields Construction/US Soccer Grants
Next, we will apply for a grant from the US Soccer Federation to build mini-fields. These smaller, durable fields are designed to promote year-round activity for children, providing an accessible and convenient space that requires no special equipment. Also, with the US hosting the World Cup in 2026, we anticipate that even more grants will become available, providing additional opportunities to secure funding for this project. This phase will encourage active lifestyles among our youth and contribute to their development both on and off the field.
- Phase 3: Indoor Facility Development
Finally, we will build an indoor soccer facility that will be versatile enough to host a variety of events throughout the year. This multi-use venue will maximize community engagement, providing a space for sports, social gatherings, and other activities.
To develop an indoor sports complex represents more than just a building project—it is a significant step towards improving the quality of life. MITSports is fully committed to making this vision a reality, and we believe that, with your support, we can create something truly special for our community.
